About this event

Sharing: Collective Conversations will be an online discussion group and workshop focussed on exploring remote collaboration.

Tragicom collective are inviting participants to immerse themselves in our process. Through an online workshop focused on exploring remote collaboration we will share the methods we have used online to engage with each other’s work and support our online dialogue throughout the pandemic.

Consisting of three parts, the session will introduce the online tools we have used, invite participants to contribute using these tools and involve a discussion around the process. By inviting others to engage with our mode of working we hope to share what we have learned, but also expand our dialgoue even further.

The process explored within the workshop will emulate our recent online exhibition Streaming: Collective Conversations with the thematic content being focussed on themes of distance and bodily interaction in an increasingly digital age. Participants are free to bring content that relates to these themes, or source content during the session.

For reference on the format we will explore during the session please visit: https://tragicom.weebly.com/streaming.html

Minimum sign up of five required for the workshop to go ahead.

The Tragicom Collective is a fluid collective of artists and currently consists of Stephanie Wilson (based in Edinburgh), Ruth Switalski and Andrw Houston (both based in Glasgow), and Niall Stevenson and Stefanie Blum (both based in Bathgate).
